tvOS 8.2 (build 12D508) is an official Apple over-the-air update for the Apple TV 3, released on 2015-03-09T18:49:02Z. The update package is 485.05 MB. This is a delta (partial) update that requires 7.1.2 to already be installed on the device - it cannot be applied from scratch. This update is no longer signed by Apple, meaning it can no longer be downloaded and applied on-device through Settings.
